Since graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts in 1992 Nicole has worked extensively as a dance practitioner in live performance, film and dance education. She is as a passionate teacher of students aged 2 to 92. Her career included work with Australian and International artists both here and on overseas adventures.
Since moving to Eltham and having children, Nicole has invested in her local community through work as a dance teacher, an Integration Aide, an advocate for Arts in schools and as a volunteer at Edendale Farm. A passion for nature, food growing and sustainability led Nicole to discover Permaculture, which at its core, is about relationships and the connections between all things. Nicole completed a Permaculture Design Certificate in 2018. This year she has been honing hands-on skills and thinking tools for self and community resilience doing a Permaculture Living Certificate. She is currently enrolled in a Diploma of Sustainable Living at the University of Tasmania.
Nicole is ambitious and hopeful for the strengthening of networks and connections in her local community and beyond and believes that in the hands of artists and creative thinkers, we will all be
more resilient and fulfilled.
