SUMMARY:West Gate Neighbourhood Fund: Grant Writing Workshops
DESCRIPTION:The West Gate Neighbourhood Fund is a $10 million government fund established to support communities in Melbourne’s inner west during the construction of the West Gate Tunnel Project (WGTP). \nThe fund allows not-for-profit groups to access support for projects that bring people together and build community capacity. \nThe second round of the West Gate Neighbourhood Fund Grants program is now open for applications. \nGrants of up to $100\,000 are available for incorporated not-for-profit community groups in the Hobsons Bay or Maribyrnong council areas. \nWe are looking for projects that celebrate: \n\nheritage\,\nhistory or diversity\,\nfocus on arts and culture\,\nemphasise learning and development\, or\nenable greater participation of community members.\n\nHobsons Bay City Council and Maribyrnong City Council are assisting with this program under the direction of WGTP\, Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA) by making available their grants application system\, and by entering into further agreements with successful applicants. \nFor more information and to book please click here.
