DESCRIPTION:Build your understanding of the grant making process from application to acquittal. This interactive workshop will focus on transforming your ideas into fundable concepts for our suite of grants and will take you step-by-step through a grant application. \nTopic to be discussed include: \n\nwhere to find the money\nintroduction to the grant making cycle\nwriting a 50-word grabs\nunderstanding the assessment criteria\nworking with partners\nanswering questions in application forms\nbuilding a project budget\nsupport material.\n\nAbout the facilitator\nDebby Maziarz is a community development worker and creative entrepreneur who mentors artists\, organisations and communities to create solid plans for resourcing their work. Renowned for unearthing innovative and fundable ideas\, Maziarz is driven to build the capacity of communities to get their important work done. \nThings to know\n\nThis training is for adults aged 18+.\nPlease bring a reusable drink bottle and pen and paper.\nWe will be serving a light dinner.\n\nWhen\n\n\nThursday\, 19 June 2025 | 06:00 PM – 08:00 PM\n\n\nLocation\nAccess the multi-level car park via Flintoff Street.
