Budgeting for Grants Online Workshop – Moonee Valley City Council

Moonee Valley City Council is currently offering funding through the COVID-19 Recovery Grants program to community groups, organisations, and local businesses.
Join in a FREE online workshop facilitated by grants expert Debby Maziarz to learn about creating a project budget for your grant application.
Through this 1.5 hour online workshop you can build your understanding of what is required to successfully create a grant project budget and acquit your grant.
This fun and hands-on workshop will focus on:
- What to include in a grant project budget – what lines go where?
- Why does the budget have to balance?
- In-kind support
- How much to ask for
- Getting paid
- How to deal with salary/wages and oncosts
- What happens if you don’t get what you asked for or you are asked to do the project for less?
- Acquitting your project
